The people of Victor UMC support countless organizations that are making a difference in the world. Here are a few examples of ways you can make a difference locally and globally.
Victor Farmington Food Cupboard
Victor UMC is a collection spot for the local VF Food Cupboard, a local foodshelf that provides assistance with dignity and respect. Drop off boxes for canned goods and other items are located throughout the church. Items that are especially needed include peanut butter, tuna fish, and other items that are high in protein.

Collecting Campbells Labels
Victor UMC supports our historic United Methodist connection with The Gateway-Longway in Buffalo, offering services to children, youth and families. Please save the labels for education found on many products such as soups, cereal and other items. Place them in the box in the lounge for The Gateway-Longview to be redeemed for many needed items such as televisions and vans. Last year over 3000 labels were sent. Click here for more information on The Gateway-Longview.
Imagine No More Malaria
The United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR) is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to alleviating human suffering around the globe. UMCOR’s work reaches people in more than 80 countries, including the United States. They provide humanitarian relief when war, conflict, or natural disaster disrupt life to such an extent that communities are unable to recover on their own. UMCOR spends 100 percent of designated donations on the projects our donors specify. When UMCOR donors give their time, money, and supplies, they join UMCOR as the hands and feet of Christ.
