Ben Lalka

Our new Pastor Ben Lalka and his wife Alyssa joined us on July 1, 2018.

Pastor Ben Lalka, comes to us from Schuylerville and Quaker Springs UMCs, and served in the Fulks Run Charge and Morrisville UMC in the Virginia UMC Conference before that. Pastor Ben has also worked as: camp counselor at the Alta Mons United Methodist Camp in Shawsville, Virginia; pastoral ministry intern at Redwood UMC in the Virginia Conference; and as the manager of the Christian Ministry Center at Ferrum College.

Pastor Ben graduated from Brighton High School in Brighton, New York, and Ferrum College in Ferrum, Virginia. He became a licensed local pastor in 2012.

Pastor Ben’s community service experience includes: Youth Football Coach; co-lead mission trips to the Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians reservation; president of both a Christian fraternity and fellowship at Ferrum College; chaplain assistant at Ferrum College; and “Hip Hope” Inner City Fam volunteer at Jubilee Family Worship Center.

Amanda Rodgers

Amanda has been a member of the Victor United Methodist Church since 2007. She lives in Victor with her husband, daughter and son. She enjoys volunteering for our VBS, Maggie’s Kids and Youth Group activities. She has also been a driver for NIMS and organizes our Memorial Day Children’s Carnival. She has been our Administrative Assistant since November 2016.






Christian Education Coordinator

Dottie Augustine

Dottie has been attending the Victor United Methodist Church her whole life! From her baptism in 1976, her confirmation in 1989, her marriage in 1998 and the baptism of her daughters in 2004 and 2007 Dottie has called VUMC her home. She has been the Christian Education Coordinator since 2013. Dottie oversees the Sunday schools classes, youth group programs and many outreach events. Dottie has a Master's Degree in Education believes there is no greater gift to give a child than education of all types.






Nursery Coordinator

Heather Ottnod

Heather began working with the children of the Victor United Methodist in the fall of 2010.  She taught a 4-6 year old classroom during Children's Church.  In September of 2012, she moved into the nursery.  Her goal is to create a loving, warm atmosphere which provides little ones with a beginning foundation of Christianity.

Heather is a graduate of SUNY Geneseo and spent many years working in Finance.  She left her career to care for her children, Alex & Reyna.
