She hails from Western New York as she was born in Buffalo, was raised in Rochester, and has been serving churches in Livingston, Wyoming, and Steuben Counties. She is a graduate of Buffalo State College and Colgate Rochester Crozer Divinity School. She was recently married to her husband Todd, who works for the Brockport Central School district. She is the proud mother to John (11) and June

Sheila Bass
Sheila Bass comes to us following a lifetime of aiding and assisting those most in need to help make their lives better. She spent the early years of her career in group homes caring for people in our region with mental and physical needs. Later in her career, Sheila worked as bookkeeper for an educational organization that offered young people with special needs a fun and enriching environment to enjoy their afternoons.
Sheila lives in Victor with her husband, Doug; their two sons, Michael and Ian; and their cat Cassie (the most loving kitty ever). Their daughter, Mary Rose, lives nearby in East Rochester and works as a Speech Language Pathologist for children in the Monroe-BOCES program.
Sheila’s philosophy that everyone deserves to not only have all of their basic needs met, but also to be treated with respect and affection. If ever you can’t find her in the office, it’s likely that she is busy improving the lives of all of our parishioners and staff.
